Summary:Consists of a diary describing Schoedler's job as a secretary in an office in New York City, her travels within the United States by boat, her social life, her work with the Barnard College athletics association, and her various athletic pursuits, particularly horseback riding. This diary, part of Lillian Schoedler Papers, is numbered "15v" in Series II. Diaries, 1912-1963, of that collection. Executive secretary and world traveler (Barnard College, B.A., 1911), Schoedler had a variety of jobs; during the 1930s she was assistant and hostess for Edward A. Filene, the Boston businessman.
