Lybarger represented Gettysburg at the meeting of the Pennsylvania <�toncal Union held at Swarthmore on last Saturday. Bro. Christ has been absent from College for over a week on account of the illness of his mother has returned to College. The fraternity conveyed its tender sympa- thies and regrets to Bro. Sachs, 23, in his recent deep bereavement. I Bro. Dimpsey, '22, who has been released from active service in the Navy has returned | to school- "G" BUTTONS AWARDED. After Chapel on Wednesday, February 19, | I the Pen and Sword Society throughi ite, Presi- dent, E. Martin Grove, '19, awarded G but- tons to the men who had won their athletic letter in track or football during the past seasons. In a few appropriate remarks, Grove stated that the object of the buttons was not to make rewards, but rather to give lue recognition for service faithfully ren- dered. He then called each of the men to the front of the chapel and presented him & his small blue button. Those of the] football men contained a football outlined m\ gold; while the track buttons had on them a treck slipper. As each name was called and as eac^ellow responded he was greeted by a round of applause. The following are the football "G" men: Zeibler, Widman, Oyler, ClouTe , Fuhrman, Briggs, McDowell Davis I Brehm ,Orth, Miller, M. W. And the men winning the "G" in track are: Stock, Ly- barger, and Treadwell. & *� GETTYSBURG, PENN'A.
