Summary:Two photographic prints taped together on the verso with black masking tape. Newspaper caption attached to the verso of the print on the left: "Sgt. Warren Young would prefer to spend Christmas with his brother -- the first time in three years." Newspaper caption on the verso of the print on the right: " Sgt. Harry J. Lassiter, at Fort Mac post office, asks for parcels that won't come to pieces." Each of the prints is stamped with date on verso: "Dec 12, 1943." Print on left shows Young holding a photograph of his brother. The photo on the right shows Lassiter sweeping packing materials off the floor. Both of the prints have been edited with paint. The print of Lassiter has rubber cement damage obscurring the sleeve of his uniform.
