Description
Summary:Holograph letter from M.(J. Curran), Rome, to Hagan. Reali has been corresponding on banking matters; enclosing letter to be sent back; listing College accounts [for the year to date]. Commenting on the new Brisbane student, Robert Lyons. The banquet and festa at St. Isidore’s was quiet and purely Irish; Canice [O'Gorman] regaled Fr. Browne O.P. with tales of the cardinals he met recently. The conquest of the North Pole brings relief and much rejoicing – 'England is out of it for once (and) I think it is symptomatic. At any rate I hope it is (and) our friends here have scored.'
