Scientific Reports, 10(1), Article 1. The dataset contain gridded growing degree days (GDD), monthly climatic water balance (WAB), and mean January air temperature averaged over 30-year periods covering Finland and northern Fennoscandia N > 66.5° at the spatial resolution of 50 x 50 m. Baseline conditions represent 1981–2010, while future conditions represent averages of 2040–2069 and 2070-2099 under three emission scenarios: RCP2.6, RCP4.5 and RCP8.5. Please refer to Heikkinen et al., for details about the calculation of the variables.
