Description
Summary:Predicting the Future and Role of the Armed Forces in the measures to be taken to address potential threats to ensure citizen security have become complicated tasks. The multidisciplinary and asymmetrical nature of both open conflicts and those represented by terrorist attacks, or threats in the political, economic, and social spheres, evoke catastrophes or calamities with a major impact on society globally. The inclusion of climate change as a threat in the security doctrine is one of the emerging developments, leading to an increase in operational requirements, as it generates a lack of resources and food shortages that, if not properly managed by weak governments, could lead to an increase in the number of refugees.
