| Summary: | Protection of women's rights is one of the most pressing and urgent universal issues of the modern world. Though Ukraine was among the first nations to ratify the UN Convention on the Elimination of All Forms of Discrimination against Women, the current law, while not containing discriminatory provisions against women, in many cases is not sufficiently effective. We have yet to develop the state policy regarding the solution of gender problems.
