One of these examples is part of the doctoral research currently being undertaken by the author. Este ensayo propone el uso de la figura retórica de la 'metáfora' como método de creación en diseño. Da referencia de los precedentes teóricos para utilizar esta estrategia de diseño basada en una aplicación de la literatura. Y propone dos casos de estudio en los cuales se ha utilizado este procedimiento para dar sentido a la zonificación de los espacios y al mobiliario que los integra. Uno de los ejemplos forma parte de la investigación que el autor esta llevando a cabo en su tesis doctoral.
