Summary:Clay material from Kangerlussuaq in West Greenland was characterised and its possible use for the production of bricks, expanded clay products and inert filler material was investigated. It was generally found that it was possible to use the clay in all of the above mentioned materials, although, further investigations will be needed before a final conclusion can be made. This paper is based on results and conclusions of student projects that were carried out at the Arctic Technology Centre, DTU.
