Summary:This paper describes the refurbishment of the DTU L-band radiometer EMIRAD-L (the former EMIRAD2) for the MOSAiC campaign. This includes the installation of EMIRAD-L on P-deck of the German research ship Polarstern wherefrom EMIRAD-L has a free view of the port side of Polarstern.
