Description
Summary:Oil and gas platforms in the North Sea host diverse marine life, including the Atlantic cod. But we do not know if the platforms are also producing fish by providing spawning areas for the fish. DTU Aqua researchers have tagged Atlantic cod at an oil and gas platform in the North Sea. The project will map fish movements around the platform. The goal is to understand if the fish are using the platforms as their spawning area and general habitat. This is the third film in a film series about research conducted by DTU Aqua. The film series covers the importance of oil and gas platforms for fish and fisheries.
