Description
Summary:This poster illustrates the radical changes in the concepts of vulnerability and sustainability of modern infrastructure in Arctic Greenland during the last 50 years. During this period, living conditions have changed dramatically, as has the kind of vulnerability that is envisaged for Greenland and its population. Not least the continued expansion of a modern (Danish) way of life and its priorities concerning health, housing, social welfare, and economic politics have in different periods of time framed the kinds of vulnerabilities that have been identified based on changing professional and scientific attention and have been addressed in post-colonial policy.
