Configuration of PIPS for Thermal Stress Calculations

The long-term goal is to provide a dynamically based means for predicting under-ice noise variations due to thermally-induced fracturing in pack ice. Incorporate this forecasting technology into the next generation Polar Ice Prediction System, PIPS 3.0 (PIPS3).
