Summary:Langley AFB proposes to construct a new storm sewer system to alleviate the flooding along the flightline and in the hangar area along Danforth Avenue. Additionally, the project proposes building a new pump station to discharge the collected runoff into the Back River. The new storm water system would be designed to handle the 10-year, 1-hour rain event This Environmental Assessment (EA) analyzes the impacts associated with construction and operation of the proposed action alignment, the Northeast Outfall alternative, and the no-action alternative.
