Description
Summary:This range reference atmosphere (RRA) is a statistical model (derived from upper-air observations) of the atmosphere from 0 to 70 km over the Thule range complex. The RRA provides tabulations of monthly and annual means, standard deviations, and skewness coefficients for wind speed, pressure, temperature, density, water vapor pressure, virtual temperature, and dew point temperature. It also gives means and standard deviation for the zonal and meridional wind components and hydrostatic model atmosphere. Methodology is included, along with graphic displays of wind statistics that can be derived from the wind data.
