Summary:From December 1960 to December 1974, the Moored Array Project (Buoy Group) at the Woods Hole Oceanographic Institution deployed 556 moored stations. Operations data on all stations is tabulated, including station number, location, setting and recovery dates, type of mooring, classification of various mooring components, number of instruments, and other information. Statistical tables are provided on mooring performance by calendar year, type of mooring, and other variables, with discussions of mooring reliability, backup recovery systems and acoustic release devices.
