Summary:The essence of the method of drilling with simultaneous freezing of the rock ahead of the drill is that because of the circulation in the well of a low-temperature, washing refrigerating agent during the drilling process, the moisture contained in the rock freezes and strong ice-and rock crusts form in the walls of the well, the core, and the moving bottom (or face).
