Description
Summary:Summaries of basic current, temperature and pressure measurements made with instruments suspended from a subsurface tri-mooring by the Woods Hole Oceanographic Institution during the Internal Wave Experiment (IWEX) are presented. Also presented are data collected by a wind recorder and two near-surface current and temperature records from a nearby spar buoy. Average currents are presented in computer generated output as basic statistics, histogram plots, spectra, progressive vector diagrams, east vs. north component plots, and variable vs. time plots. Averaged temperature and differential temperature from the current meters are presented as basic statistics, histogram plots, spectra, and variable vs. time plots. Pressure and temperature measurements from T/P recorders are displayed versus time. Prepared in cooperation with Johns Hopkins Univ., Laurel, Md. Applied Physics Lab.
