Description
Summary:ATS-3 Faraday-rotation data gathered at Narssarssuaq, Greenland, during the period 72/04/20 - 74/06/11 has been analyzed. This was done by drawing contour-maps of the total electron content (TEC) with the aid of a computer program. These show the general changes of TEC with increasing Kp. It is found that the day-time values of the winter 73-74 are low compared to the winter of 72-73 and are possibly a signature of a long time variation of the solar activity. (Author)
