Summary:The Moored Array Project (Buoy Group) at the Woods Hole Oceanographic Institution carried out a series of moored-array experiments to measure currents and temperatures as part of the Mid-Ocean Dynamics Experiment (MODE). During the period from October, 1971 to August, 1974, a total of forty-four moorings were deployed. This report summarizes the design, preparation, and field operations involved in the deployment and recovery of these arrays. Tabulations are included of all moorings set.
