Description
Summary:The Arctic environment is changing, drastically revealing opportunities and vulnerabilities. In this environment, the U.S./NATO could be challenged by a failing and assertive Russia in a potential conflict in the form of a limited conventional war comparable to the Falklands war. Russia's vast arsenal of Anti-Access/Area Denial (A2AD) capabilities in the space-, cyber-, air-, land and maritime domains constitutes a challenge to deny the U.S./NATO access to, or denial in, a conflict scenario in the European Arctic.
