Description
Summary:A NATO oceanographic survey was conducted in two regions of the eastern North Atlantic during the period 18 June - 2 August 1965. The data presented in this volume were collected in the eastern North Atlantic 600 n.mi south of Iceland and 300 n.mi west of Ireland in July 1965. Observed and interpolated temperature, salinity and oxygen data are tabulated, together with calculated values of sigma-t, specific volume anomaly, dynamic height, sound speed and 'density' in situ. Temperature and salinity charts and profiles are presented. The methods employed in gathering and processing the data are discussed. See also Volume 10, Part 2, AD-863 301.
