Summary:The report contains data collected in five cruises of 'Xauen', realized during the summers from 1950 to 1954 off the North-West coast of the Iberian Peninsule. The observations were extended to a depth of 500 metres, and the distributions of temperature, salinity, phosphate and dissolved oxygen show upwelling in the five cruises and allowed the study of that phenomenon in Galice and in the Cantabric coast.
