Summary:The report is on a workshop held to stimulate wide discussion and innovative thought on available technology which could be useful to the Navy. Three broad areas were chosen for discussion: (1) the technology which supports science and exploration, (2) the technology which is used in transportation, communication, and logistics, and (3) the technology which is utilized or is presently feasible in resource exploitation. These areas were covered in detail to expose practical usage and limitations of the technology. (Author)
