Summary:Article 1 significant changes in the flood-plain conditions lead to changes in the vegetative communities. The changes in the vegetation depend on the flood plain conditions such as period of flooding, amount and quality of silt deposition, effect of ice drift. Within the limits of the northern taiga, during the development of vegetation in the fluvial and central sections of the flood plains of the rivers, the following three stages are observed: meadow, brush, and forest, each of which includes a number of changing communities. Article 2 research was conducted at the agricultural biological station of the Moscow State University on groups of fruit bearing apple trees, including natural root and grafted trees. Tabular data is presented to show that the content of some leaf substances is not identified depending on crown level. Vitamin C and chlorophyll content depended on plant development conditions.
