Summary:This volume is divided into two parts: Part I Bathymetry and Subbottom Profiling, Part II Magnetics. Part I summarizes the bathymetric and subbottom profiling results obtained in Area HH. Area HH is a two ship transit from Charleston, South Carolina and Boston, Massachusetts through the Western North Atlantic, Caribbean Sea and Pacific Ocean to Honolulu, Hawaii. This covers approximately 18,000 miles of geophysical surveying. Part II is a report on the magnetic survey in Area HH. Based on the observed magnetic values a regional field of the total magnetic intensity was constructed. Using the intensity variations of the short wave length component of the residual anomalies magnetic province maps were prepared. (Author)
