Description
Summary:Six equal area, continental base maps are used to portray mean monthly temperatures for all land areas of the world except Antarctica. Seventy-two individual maps, 12 for each continent, give complete coverage for all months of the year. Isotherms are drawn at intervals of 18 Fahrenheit degrees (10 Centigrade degrees). A 10-color overprint, graduated from warm to cold colors, provides a color spectrum corresponding to the temperature gradation. A color key identifies temperature zones in both Fahrenheit and Centigrade values.
