Summary:A computerized system has been developed for the production of ocean wave spectra over the North Atlantic Ocean. The spectra results are fairly close to observed conditions. By means of this system a 15-month series of wave spectra has been obtained at 519 gridpoints over the North Atlantic. Each spectrum is described in terms of the spectral energy in 12 directions for 15 different frequencies. (Author)
