Description
Summary:This report contains the observed and interpolated temperature and salinity data plus the computed sigma-t, geopotential anomalies and sound velocities for the oceanographic stations taken by three of the U. S. Coast Guard cutters occupying Ocean Station BRAVO (centered at 56 degrees 30' N., 51 degrees 00' W.) during January-April 1964. They were the CGC CASCO, 5-26 January, CGC YAKUTAT, 16 February8 March and CGC CASTLE ROCK, 28 March18 April. Daily casts of 13 Nansen bottles were made to 1500 meters when weather conditions permitted. In addition, sampling was successfully extended to near the bottom on at least one station during each patrol. (Author
