Description
Summary:Tables are given of model atmospheric properties relevant to Program 461 infrared transmission and background studies. These physical properties are shown as an integrated function of altitude and slant path, and with respect to four atmospheric conditions: Temperate, Tropical, Arctic Winter, and Arctic Summer. In addition, there is a brief review of the development of existing general model atmospheres, and of the fundamental mathematical relationships for calculation of the instant tables.
