Included are such diverse topics as airplane icing, the characteristics of sea ice, various aspects of snow removal and ice control, cold regions engineering, and field investigations of snow cover, land ice, and permafrost. Each entry contains, in addition to an informative abstract, the necessary bibliographic information, a code designating a library possessing a copy of the original ( CF. P.
