Summary:This bibliography is prepared on a continuing basis by the Science and Technology Division of the Library of Congress. The present volume is the fourteenth of a series begun in 1951. The volumes I to V were entitled ANNOTATED BIBLIOGRAPHY ON SNOW ICE AND PERMAFROST. Volumes I to XI were issued semi-annually; thereafter publication has been annual. Each volume is an indexed cumulation of abstracts issued on standard catalog cards during the previous year. Abstracts numbered SIP 17001 through 18000 are included. The primary purpose of the bibliography is to aid the Snow, Ice and Permafrost Research Establishment and other government agencies and contractors concerned with snow, ice and frozen ground conditions.
