Summary:Data from the US National Marine Fisheries Service's biannual (spring and fall) stratified random bottom trawl survey, from 1963-2015. Data has been cleaned using the trawlData package (ver. 0.4.0) in R (for details on the cleaning process, see https://github.com/rBatt/trawlData/). From this dataset, columns used for Flanagan et al. (2018) include: stratum (Numbered survey strata defined by the Northeast Fisheries Science Center), year, season, lat, lon, depth, bottom temperature [btemp], corrected weight of catch per unit effort [wtcpue] and species [spp].
