Summary:Up to the Autumn 2019 there are 20 species and 2 cultivars in collection of the “Otradnoje” Research Station of the Komarov Botanical Institute of Russian Academy of Sciences (Priozersky administrative district of Leningrad Region, North-Western Russia), 12 of them fruits and 7 – produce self-sowing. In conditions of modern climate the majority of them are quite winter hardy. For planting at the Karel Isthmus we may recommend first of all such little know in cultivation, dceorative and botanically interesting maples as Acer campestre L., A. pseudoplatanus L., A. pseudosieboldianum (Pax) Kom., A. saccharinum L., A. tegmentosum Maxim., A. trautvetteri Medw., A. ukurunduense Trautv. et C. A. Mey., which may be propagated by local seeds.
