Summary:The article is devoted to the analysis of challenges and threats to Russia's military security in the Arctic. It is noted that the increase in activity of NATO in the Arctic leads to the reconfiguration of relations in the security sphere. In recent years the alliance has intensified its campaign to integrate into its ranks neutral states, such as Finland and Sweden. The NATO bloc sees Russia as a potential adversary in the Arctic. In response to these actions Russia is taking active measures to strengthen its national security in the Arctic region.
