Summary:Surveys on Greenland halibut from the Barents Sea show presence of 18 parasitic species belonging to: Protozoa (4 species), Cestoda (2), Trematoda (5), Nematoda (3), Acanthocephala (3), and Crustacea (1 species). Infestation prevalence and intensity of the tested fish population was given as well as location of parasite within the host. Two species pathogenic for man were found.
