Description
Summary:A short summary of studies on a diversity of bloom-forming cyanoprokaryota in Kharbeyskie Lakes (Bolshezemelskaya Tundra) is presented in comparison with data obtained 40 years ago in the same location. During investigation period, 55 taxa of cyanoprokaryota were found (species with intraspecific taxa). Dolichospermum flos-aquae f. flos-aquae, D. flos-aquae f. gracilis, D. lemmermannii, D. circinale var. cyrtospora, A. solitaria f. solitaria, Planktothrix agardhii, Aphanizomenon flosaquae, Tolypothrix tenuis and Woronichinia naegeliana were the bloom-forming species. The water bloom was observed during all years of the study. Complexes of planktonic species were stable due to constant hydrochemical characteristics of the lake system
