Description
Summary:The fire-fighting water system of polar ships will face the risk of low temperature damage during operation, and the laying of electric tracing belt for fire-fighting pipelines can reduce the risk of low temperature damage. Firstly, the power of electric tracing belt was calculated by thermodynamic theory. Then, the power protection effect of the selected electric tracing belt was verified by simulation experiment. Finally, the self-limiting electric tracking belt with a power of 60 W/m (10 °C) can effectively melt ice in the two-phase flow of sea-ice crystal with ice particle diameter less than 0.4 mm and ice content less than 20%.
