Description
Summary:Uranium, thorium and potassium contents of the twelve rocks from the Yamato Mountains and the vicinity of Syowa Station were quantitatively analysed by γ spectrometry method. Basic to ultrabasic metamorphic rocks have remarkably low contents of these elements. On the other hand, granitic rocks show variable contents. The ratios of these elements were examined in comparison with those of granitic rocks in Japan.
