Summary:Simple formulas were obtained on the basis of a probabilistic interpretation of Kamchatka region earthquake repetition law. Using these formulas the number of seismic events falling within an unrepresentative interval energy class (magnitude) was calculated and the expected time of an earthquake with a magnitude exceeding the maximum registered values for the period of instrumental observations was estimated.
