Description
Summary:The escalation of the conflict in the South Atlantic has redefined its nature. Three geopolitical clues help to comprehensively understand what is happening at present in that part of the planet: the fight for natural resources (especially oil and secondly, ichthyologic wealth) Antarctic projection and effective land, air and maritime control over the islands. The escalation of the conflict offers an extraordinary peculiarity: the confrontation of the two orbis pictus entirely differentiated. On the one hand, the exercise of power as it has been historically understood, with political, diplomatic and military capabilities on the British side, and on the other, the Argentinean option for a pacifist foreign and defense policy. The long absence of investment in the Defense sector points at the question of whether this is a need or a conviction.
