| Summary: | The chromiferous skarn mineral associations at Outokumpu have been described and a number of characteristic chromium-bearing minerals have been re-examined. A large number of wet chemical and microprobe analyses are presented for zincian chromite, uvarovite, chromian diopside, chromian tremolite, eskolaite and chromian clinozoisite. In the course of this study a vanadian uvarovite and a vanadian-zincian chromite have been noted. |
