Summary:Practitioners working on building performance simulations do seldom apply uncertainty and sensitivity analysis using state-of-the-art global methods in their daily workflow. With stricter building regulations imposed year by year, a corresponding change in workflow has been identified as one important way to bridge the increasing gap between predicted and actual energy use. This study describes how statistical methods from research can be adapted to an efficient workflow in a practical setting, concretised through description of a proposed framework and methodology, and application on a case study for a hospital in Northern Norway.
