Summary:The article considers the stages of development of Soviet kinematografa during 1920 –1980s. Cinema, on the one hand, recorded the phenomena arising in the Russian space and in the Soviet social system, on the other — Subordinated orders of the communist coupleOf the Soviet Union, leading the work of cinematography. In every decade of the Soviet era films were filmed, in which the directors tried to reconcile the demands of party ideologists with the realities of life. The 1920s were a time of searching for stories corresponding to the revolutionary time, When classical paintings of socialist realism ("Strike" and "Battleship Potemkin") were created. Since the Soviet rolled films about the revolution and its heroes were not in demand, in the 1930s the search for plots and images of Soviet cinematography were continued. The creative development of the folklore code allowed the Soviet cinema of the 1930s not just to win the widest audience, but to become truly loved, truly folk art. However, the range of feelings allowed to the heroes of the Soviet screen was extremely dosed and limited: To love the party, the proletariat, the teachings of Marxism-Leninism, ardently hating the enemies of the party and the revolution. Therefore, the Soviet era is characterized by movies, where the characters sacrifice their personal life for the public. Screenwriters, directors and actors had to make the impossible to combine an interesting theme with party installations. Thus before the beginning of perestroika the theme of love and family life was strictly dosed, high production achievements were the priority. Freely or unwittingly, but it was cinematography that recorded the demographic problems that arose in the Soviet society, gradually buildinging and perestroika the processes of the second half of the 1980s XX Century.
