Description
Summary:The purpose of this article is to reconstruct the main biographical stages of the creative path of Vasily Sheshunov, a Far Eastern artist, student of Ivan Shishkin and Arkhip Kuindzhi. Because of the lack of study of the topic, this goal seems relevant. The historical and biographical method was used as the main method. In conclusion, it is concluded that the work of V.G. Sheshunov reveals the influence of I.I. Shishkin, which refutes the notion that he actually did not leave behind followers. At the same time, the artist's landscapes are of independent interest; they are characterized by lyricism, precise drawing, interesting compositional construction, detailed elaboration of the theme of the Ussuri nature.
