Summary:The productivity and quality of fruits of white sea buckthorn from 15 varieties of Romanian, German and Ukrainian origin were studied. It has been established that according to the size of the harvest obtained in the first two years of fructification the varieties can be classified as follows: high yielding varieties (Mara, Cora, Clara, C 6, Pomoranchevaya), medium-yielding varieties (Mr. Sandu, AGG, Leicora, Seirola) and low-yielding varieties (Dora, Roori, AGA, Pitesti-2, Brateni and Hergo). Only the Pomoranchevaya variety had great fruits. The Clara, Roori, Sandu, C 6, AGG, Leicora and Serola varieties had medium-sized fruits, and the other varieties were small. The most valuable varieties by vitamin C content in fruits were: Mara, Piteşti-2, Clara, Dora, Roori, Mr. Sandu and Brateni.
