Summary:The new version of the State program for the development of the Arctic zone of the Russian Federation sets the task for the subjects included in this zone to develop and implement their own programs aimed at solving the problems of the Federal Arctic policy in this subject; and strictly linked to the priorities of the Federal strategic documentation. This makes the analysis of the compliance of the goals, objectives and activities of the Arctic policy at two levels a very relevant research task. The purpose of the article is to identify inconsistencies in the Arctic policy at the Federal and regional levels by comparing the strategic vision of the oil and gas sector in the Arctic territories of the Krasnoyarsk territory. The main approach is to compare the regulatory documents regulating the Federal Arctic policy and regional development strategies of the Krasnoyarsk territory in terms of the vision of the oil and gas sector in the Arctic territories of the region. Accordingly, the main method is a comparative analysis of such documentation in this part, as well as a comparative analysis of the evolution of the priorities of the oil and gas sector in the past regional strategies of the region. Main results. With regard to the development of the Arctic oil and gas sector, the current Strategy of social and economic development of the Krasnoyarsk territory until 2030 is quite balanced and takes into account the main priorities of Russia’s Arctic policy at its present stage. Here attention is paid to the development of existing fields, the next “generation” of fields for development is planned. There are tasks on exploration and formation of industrial reserves on the Arctic continental shelf. Some concern is only the lack of any target indicators related to the development of the oil and gas sector.
