Summary:To preserve and promote the historical and cultural heritage of the peoples of Russia is an urgent and timely issue in the context of sociocultural changes taking place in the world due to transformation of the society value orientations, information sphere globalization, and information digitalization. The significant contribution to the solution of these issues is made by national libraries, including the national libraries of the republics of the Russian Federation.The article discusses the activities of the five national libraries in Republics of Altai, Buryatia, Sakha (Yakutia), Tyva, Khakassia on the formation of thematic full-text electronic collections. This study contributes to the creation of a unified (consolidated) regional information and navigation portal of electronic collections of the named national libraries.Presentation of diverse local collections through a single access window, their relaying will contribute to the most complete preservation of historical memory, attracting the attention of specialists to these collections, meeting information needs.
