Description
Summary:In total 38 species of bumble bees were known from Khakassia (Southern Siberia, Russia). New faunistic data for four species of bumble bees from Khakassia are reported. Bombus margreiteri Skorikov, 1910, B. balteatus Dahlbom, 1832, and B. lapponicus (Fabricius, 1793) are recorded for the fauna of the Republic of Khakassia for the first time. These four species were found in high alpine and mounain-taiga levels of Kuznetskiy Alatau and Western Sayan ridges. Bombus fragrans (Pallas, 1771) was known in the territory of Khakassia only by the material collected in the 19th century. Host plants and typical habitats of Bombus margreiteri, B. balteatus and B. lapponicus in the region are given.
