Description
Summary:The Al Hoceima, bay as a vital marine ecosystem, faces the challenge of ocean acidification, a major consequence of climate change. This study analyzes the variation of three key oceanic parameters - Sea Surface Temperature (SST), seawater pH, and Dissolved Inorganic Carbon (DIC) - over a 12-year period, from 2010 to 2021, utilizing an advanced statistical approach. The results reveal distinct seasonal trends and specific noteworthy years. Ocean acidification may pose a threat to the marine biodiversity of the region. This analysis is crucial for comprehending and mitigating the impacts of climate change on the Bay of Al Hoceima.
